About Us

The Climbing Guy is a site born out of my love for rock climbing and the great outdoors.

Unfortunately, I don’t manage to get outdoors as much as I would like, so this site helps me to continue to learn and develop my knowledge and skills, when I’m not on the hill.

It’s not just me writing for the site. We’ve got a team of great authors that contribute their own experience and knowledge to the site. Check out Gaby’s, Amanda’s and Alison’s profile pages for more details.

We’re a young site, but are planning to cover skills, techniques and gear, as well other related climbing and outdoors topics.
